I focus on the forms of collective organization developed around the use of pastures through formal and informal institutions developed for this purpose. Likewise, I am interested in the relationships established with domestic animals and grassland territories, encompassing the material dimension and the set of sociocultural expressions. I am also interested in how agrarian policies, global markets, and processes of sociocultural change shape these relationships. My research includes areas in the Catalan Pyrenees and in the Sierra de Segura (south-east of Spain).
