He completed his postgraduate training at the Central European University, University of Budapest, and the Oxford Center for Hebrew and Jewish Studies, University of Oxford. He is particularly interested in the link between political and legal processes and the symbolic-conceptual dimension of the definition of identities in the context of power relations between socio-religious groups. He has obtained funding for research projects from the Center for Contemporary History of Catalonia, the Inventory of Ethnological Heritage of Catalonia, the Center for Jewish Studies at UCLA and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
