AirST-FRAME (Grant PID2023-150782OB-C21 funded by MICIU\/AEI \/10.13039\/501100011033 and FEDER, UE) is a collaborative initiative between <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/uabbarcelona\/\">Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/universidad-politecnica-de-madrid\/\">Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid<\/a>, funded by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/cienciagob\/\">Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovaci\u00f3n y Universidades<\/a>.<br><br>The primary goal of this innovative project is to optimize the management of European airspace through the development of the CAEHO (Clusterized Aircraft Early Handover) mechanism. CAEHO uses artificial intelligence to anticipate and dynamically balance air traffic controllers&#8217; workloads across adjacent control sectors.<br><br>But what exactly is \u00abEarly Handover\u00bb?<br>Imagine being able to transfer groups of aircraft from one airspace sector to the next earlier than usual\u2014before congestion occurs. That&#8217;s exactly what we&#8217;re aiming to do.
