El meu t\u00edtol de llicenciat va ser en Biologia i Antropologia a la Universitat de l&#8217;Oest d&#8217;Ontario (Londres, Canad\u00e0), despr\u00e9s vaig realitzar un m\u00e0ster en Arqueologia a la Universitat Simon Fraser (Vancouver, Canad\u00e0) centrat en l&#8217;ADN antic, concretament en la degradaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;ADN mitocondrial i nuclear en restes faun\u00edstiques. Del 2014 al 2019, vaig treballar com a t\u00e8cnic de recerca en gen\u00f2mica i prote\u00f2mica al centre de recerca BioArCh al departament d\u2019Arqueologia de la Universitat de York (Regne Unit). En aquest paper he treballat en diversos projectes que inclouen l\u2019an\u00e0lisi d\u2019ADN antic (esp\u00e8cie ID, gen\u00f2mica d\u2019escopeta, captura) i prote\u00efnes antigues (ZooMS, prote\u00f2mica d\u2019escopeta) d\u2019una gamma de materials com ara os, formiga, balena, cuir, terrissa , c\u00e0lcul dental, coprolites, plantes, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">L\u2019any 2019 vaig ocupar la meva posici\u00f3 actual com a t\u00e8cnica superior d\u2019investigaci\u00f3 en paleoprote\u00f2mica en el projecte TRADITION finan\u00e7at per ERC, al Departament de Prehist\u00f2ria i l\u2019ICTA de la UAB. TRADITION t\u00e9 com a objectiu mostrar el potencial de l\u2019arqueologia i la hist\u00f2ria per informar sobre les estrat\u00e8gies de gesti\u00f3 i conservaci\u00f3 actuals per a la pesca a petita escala a les zones tropicals i subtropicals de l\u2019Am\u00e8rica del Sud. Com a t\u00e8cnica superior d\u2019investigaci\u00f3, ajudar\u00e9 a comprendre els canvis diet\u00e8tics humans mitjan\u00e7ant l\u2019an\u00e0lisi de prote\u00efnes en cer\u00e0mica i c\u00e0lcul dental i a dilucidar canvis en la biodiversitat de la fauna marina i terrestre a la costa del bosc atl\u00e0ntic brasiler mitjan\u00e7ant ZooMS (Zooarchaeology by Mass Spectrometry).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Com a t\u00e8cnica d\u2019investigaci\u00f3 he tingut l\u2019oportunitat de treballar en diferents projectes, la qual cosa m\u2019ha portat a desenvolupar interessos de recerca \u00e0mplia en termes de geografia, per\u00edodes de temps i materials a analitzar. M\u2019interessa especialment la biodiversitat de mam\u00edfers marins i la millora i desenvolupament de m\u00e8todes.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Treballa en conjunts de fauna de&#8230;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Cetacis d\u2019Am\u00e8rica del Sud (varietat de llocs precolombins del Brasil) &#8211; en curs<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Cetacis d&#8217;Europa occidental (principalment treballats artefactes en ossos de diversos llocs, que es corresponen majorit\u00e0riament amb la Magdalena) &#8211; en curs<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Anteriorment va treballar&nbsp;amb restes faun\u00edstiques de diferents llocs d\u2019Europa, \u00c0frica, Am\u00e8rica del Sud i Am\u00e8rica del Nord.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Projectes de recerca<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>TRADITION &#8211; Long-Term Coastal Adaptation, Food Security and Poverty Alleviation in Latin America: <\/strong>ERC-Consolidator Grant project<strong>, <\/strong>PI: Andr\u00e9 Carlo Colonese (UAB).
