The session was focused in presenting a comprehensive vision of the current urban agriculture challenges and opportunities, by considering both social and environmental\u00a0 perspectives, while employing the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona as case study. The workshop featured five short presentations:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Start-up business for the implementation of urban agriculture (Ver\u00f3nica Arcas\/Tectum Garden &amp; ICTA-UAB)<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Social perspective of urban agriculture: drivers and obstacles (<a href=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/atmosphere\/team-member\/johannes-langemeyer\/\">Johannes Langemeyer\/<\/a>ICTA-UAB)<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Metabolic perspective of urban agriculture (<a href=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/atmosphere\/team-member\/gara-villalba\/\">Gara Villalba<\/a>\/ICTA-UAB)<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Potential of nutrient recovery from the organic municipal solid waste (<a href=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/atmosphere\/team-member\/juan-david\/\">Juan David Arosemena<\/a>\/ICTA-UAB)<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoListParagraph\">Urban agriculture in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona: potential changes in vulnerabilities (<a href=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/atmosphere\/team-member\/david-alejandro-camacho\/\">David A. La sessi\u00f3 es va centrar a presentar una visi\u00f3 integral dels reptes i oportunitats actuals de l&#8217;agricultura urbana, considerant les perspectives tant socials com ambientals, tot utilitzant l&#8217;\u00c0rea Metropolitana de Barcelona com a cas d&#8217;estudi.
