A continuaci\u00f3, es descriuen alguns dels punts que es tracten en aquest document:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">-Es calcula que la contaminaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aire genera 467.000 morts prematures l&#8217;any. En el cas de l&#8217;\u00c0rea Metropolitana de Barcelona, aquesta contaminaci\u00f3 ve originada principalment pel transport i mobilitat (especialment pel vehicle privat), per<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"ca\">\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 <\/span>per la calefacci\u00f3 i la refrigeraci\u00f3 d&#8217;edificis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">-La vegetaci\u00f3 ens ajuda a millorar la qualitat de l&#8217;aire de forma directa i \u00a0indirecta. Algunes causes d&#8217;efecte directe s\u00f3n la intercepci\u00f3 i descomposici\u00f3 de compostos mitjan\u00e7ant els seus estomes, la deposici\u00f3 dels contaminants sobre el fullatge i la pertorbaci\u00f3 que genera sobre el flux de vent. D&#8217;altra banda, tamb\u00e9 hi ha efectes indirectes fruit de la mitigaci\u00f3 de calor, com ara la reducci\u00f3 de les reaccions fotoqu<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"ca\">\u00ed<\/span>miques que formen l&#8217;oz\u00f3 o la reducci\u00f3 de la contaminaci\u00f3 generada per refrigeraci\u00f3 deguda a l&#8217;aire condicionat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">-Alguns estudis apunten que tamb\u00e9 existeixen alguns factors negatius generats per l&#8217;increment de la vegetaci\u00f3, com ara la reducci\u00f3 de la dispersi\u00f3 de contaminants a causa de l&#8217;alteraci\u00f3 de les brises naturals o l&#8217;augment del pol\u00b7len i, per tant, d&#8217;al\u00b7l\u00e8rgies en la poblaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">L&#8217;\u00c0rea Metropolitana de Barcelona \u00e9s una de les metr<span class=\"Y2IQFc\" lang=\"ca\">\u00f2polis m\u00e9s grans d&#8217;Europa, amb m\u00e9s de tres milions d&#8217;habitants. Barcelona, la seva capital, registra uns dels valors m\u00e9s elevats de contaminaci\u00f3 d&#8217;Europa, espec\u00edficament en part\u00edcules (PM2.5 i PM10) i NO2.
