Gara Villalba presented her work &#8220;To what extent can urban and peri-urban agriculture contribute to environmental sustainability of food production?&#8221;, in a session held in <a href=\"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/atmosphere\/homage-to-bob-ayres-1932-2023\/\"><strong>memory of Bob Ayres<\/strong><\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Urban and peri-urban agriculture (UA) can provide locally grown food at low environmental impact by maximizing the recycling of nutrients from the city to agricultural lands.
