Work with us
We are thrilled to announce an exciting 2-year Postdoctoral Researcher opportunity at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, working within the ERC ATRAPA project, focusing on the acceptability and backlash towards transport and urban transformative policies.
Postdoctoral Researcher in Urban Planning and Mobility
Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, GEMOTT Research Group
Application Deadline: 7 July
Funded by the European Research Council, ATRAPA is an innovative project that aims to understand the drivers of opposition, backlash, or acceptance towards built environment transformation policies intended to impact travel behavior. The project will combine local electoral outcomes with advanced survey methods in a multi-city setting within Europe. It will test various policy scenarios, ranging from superblocks to densification projects, to understand popular reactions to these policies. We are seeking a committed researcher to lead Part I of the project as part of an international and multidisciplinary team based in UAB’s Geography Department and ICTA (Institute for Environmental Science and Technology). While the role will focus on policy analysis and electoral outcomes, we encourage applications from candidates with relevant skills, even if they are currently working in other policy domains.
