Juan Francisco Mart\u00ednez L\u00f3pez<\/strong><\/strong>

Juan Francisco Mart\u00ednez L\u00f3pez, a native of Mazarr\u00f3n, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of Murcia, where he was awarded a collaboration scholarship granted by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. Upon completing his studies, he received the Extraordinary End-of-Degree Award in the Humanities. He was also awarded the \u201cStart Your Research\u201d scholarship from Banco Santander through the University of Murcia.

He completed a Master’s Degree in Teacher Training and a Master’s Degree in History and Historical Heritage, developing a strong academic background focused on both teaching and research. His interest in research emerged early with the presentation of a paper at the 8th Regional Congress of Junior Researchers (CMN-CARM), devoted to the role of Murcia and its towns during the War of the Spanish Succession.

His scholarly work and academic contributions focus on the study of captivity in the Kingdom of Murcia during the Early Modern period, with particular attention to family dynamics and the social networks involved in captivity. In this field, he has participated in scientific meetings held in Salamanca, Ferrol, and Madrid.

He has also been the recipient of one of the entrepreneurial projects of Campus Mare Nostrum, linked to his doctoral dissertation and aimed at the social transfer and public dissemination of historical knowledge concerning captivity and family structures in the Murcia region.

Currently, he is a predoctoral researcher at the University of Murcia within the Doctoral Programme in Geography and History, where he is a member of the Family and Power Elite Seminar research group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
