Her research as part of BADEMS focuses on the role of Afro-Hispanic confraternities as a space for cultural production, transcultural interactions, identity and community building, and the preservation of African religious and cultural practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 She completed her PhD at the University of Edinburgh in 2024, where she also worked as a tutor in Hispanic Language and Cultures for the past four years.
