Su coloraci\u00f3n alar es generalmente azulada con los bordes m\u00e1s oscuros en el anverso, mientras que el reverso es pardo-gris\u00e1ceo. Aun as\u00ed, las hembras pueden presentar su anverso marr\u00f3n y con manchas anaranjadas en los bordes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size\">La oruga suele ser de color verde y destaca la presencia de una l\u00ednea oscura en el dorso y una blanquinosa en el costado.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-769d0143 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p><strong>DIETA:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size\">En estadio larvario suelen alimentarse de las hojas de plantas leguminosas, entre las cuales destacan los tr\u00e9boles. En cambio, en fase adulta suelen ingerir el n\u00e9ctar de diversas flores silvestres.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-769d0143 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p><strong>ESTRUCTURA SOCIAL Y COMPORTAMIENTO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size\">Estos individuos suelen tener un comportamiento diurno y solitario, donde destaca el comportamiento territorial de los machos. Estos, adem\u00e1s, buscan a aquellas hembras que est\u00e1n m\u00e1s recluidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size\">Su ciclo de vida se caracteriza por el hecho de presentar m\u00e1s de una generaci\u00f3n en un a\u00f1o, teniendo los primeros organismos adultos entre mayo y junio, mientras que los segundos aparecen entre junio y septiembre. Los organismos adultos siempre viven un m\u00e1ximo de tres semanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size\">Cuando est\u00e1n en fase adulta, buscar\u00e1n a una pareja y se reproducir\u00e1n para as\u00ed generar unos huevos que depositan en la flor u hojas de una planta cercana. Estos huevos se abrir\u00e1n pasados unos pocos d\u00edas o semanas, aunque depende de las condiciones del ambiente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size\">Las orugas que se originan pueden pasarse las estaciones fr\u00edas hibernando, para as\u00ed continuar con su ciclo en primavera. Antes de llegar a la fase de pupa, tendr\u00e1 que pasar por 5 estadios larvales que le servir\u00e1n para ir aumentando de tama\u00f1o (suelen nacer midiendo 12mm).
