No suele superar los 30 gramos de peso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Su pelaje es amarillo rojizo en la parte dorsal, mientras que el vientre es blanquinoso. Los juveniles suelen tener un pelaje menos denso y con colores gris\u00e1ceos, pero esto cambia con la primera muda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">No presentan un dimorfismo sexual bien marcado, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de que el macho es ligeramente de mayor tama\u00f1o que las hembras. Adem\u00e1s, las hembras tienen 3 pares de mamas (1 pectoral y 2 inguinales).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Su cabeza es voluminosa y presenta un morro alargado, con diversos pelos sensoriales, unos ojos negros grandes y unas orejas grandes. En cuanto a sus patas, las posteriores son m\u00e1s alargadas para permitir desplazarse realizando saltos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-5154c1c1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DIETA:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Este es un animal omn\u00edvoro. Aunque tiene preferencia por el alimento de origen vegetal (semillas, baya etc.), tambi\u00e9n puede ingerir peque\u00f1os artr\u00f3podos y larvas.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-4fc3f8e1 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ESTRUCTURA SOCIAL Y COMPORTAMIENTO:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Este es un animal nocturno, que habitualmente forma peque\u00f1as poblaciones con otros individuos con los que comparten nido. Aun as\u00ed, cuando llega el periodo reproductivo, se vuelven territoriales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">El periodo reproductivo es variable, suele depender de las condiciones del medio. Debido a que su esperanza de vida rara vez supera los dos a\u00f1os, llegan a la madurez sexual a las pocas semanas y tienen distintas camadas a lo largo del a\u00f1o. Tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 presente en el norte de \u00c1frica y en Asia Menor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Suele habitar en zonas con una densa cobertura vegetal, para as\u00ed poder disminuir el riesgo de depredaci\u00f3n.
