Su nombre proviene del hecho de que presentan seis patas, las cuales salen de la zona tor\u00e1cica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Los hex\u00e1podos, tambi\u00e9n conocidos com\u00fanmente como insectos, tienen el cuerpo dividido en 3 regiones bien diferenciadas entre s\u00ed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group has-alegreya-font-family has-small-font-size is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>La cabeza<\/strong>: est\u00e1 dividida en 6 segmentos, donde en cada uno encontramos una estructura diferente. En el primero, llamado acr\u00f3n, se encuentran los ojos y el primer segmento del cerebro; en el segundo est\u00e1n las antenas y el segundo segmento cerebral; en el tercero est\u00e1 el tercer segmento cerebral; en el cuarto se encuentran las mand\u00edbulas; en el quinto, las maxilas; y en el sexto, los labios.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>T\u00f3rax<\/strong>: como se mencion\u00f3 antes, esta es la regi\u00f3n donde se agrupan los tres pares de patas, las cuales se dividen en 3 segmentos: prot\u00f3rax, mesot\u00f3rax y metat\u00f3rax. A su vez, las patas est\u00e1n separadas en diferentes regiones: coxa, troc\u00e1nter, f\u00e9mur, tibia, tarso y pretarso. Esta estructura de las patas les permite tener mucha movilidad y que se adapten f\u00e1cilmente al estilo de locomoci\u00f3n que tengan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Abdomen<\/strong>: generalmente se puede decir que est\u00e1 dividido en 11 segmentos (aunque, dependiendo del grupo, esta estructura puede variar). Es en el abdomen donde se encuentran la mayor\u00eda de los \u00f3rganos, como por ejemplo el aparato reproductor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">El hecho de que en este grupo haya tantas especies diferentes provoca que tengan muchas diferencias entre s\u00ed, como el tipo de locomoci\u00f3n o la dieta (y, por tanto, la forma del aparato bucal). Cabe destacar que los hex\u00e1podos son el \u00fanico grupo dentro de los invertebrados que ha desarrollado la capacidad de volar, gracias a unas alas que se encuentran presentes en la zona tor\u00e1cica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Lo que s\u00ed tienen en com\u00fan es la estructura de su sistema circulatorio, que es abierto (los \u00f3rganos flotan en una cavidad llamada hemocele). Adem\u00e1s, el coraz\u00f3n no tiene una gran fuerza de bombeo, sino que es gracias a la actividad rutinaria del individuo que la sangre se mueve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Tambi\u00e9n comparten el hecho de que utilizan espir\u00e1culos para respirar. Estos no son m\u00e1s que unas estructuras en forma de v\u00e1lvula situadas en el exoesqueleto que permiten la entrada de aire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Los insectos, al igual que la gran mayor\u00eda de artr\u00f3podos, tienen una cut\u00edcula externa endurecida. Esto significa que, para poder crecer, deben mudarla, generando una nueva m\u00e1s grande.
