She explores these themes by combining literary analysis with philosophy, drawing on the works of philosophers such as Martin Heidegger, Henri Bergson, and Vladimir Jank\u00e9l\u00e9vitch. This approach reveals how literature addresses the impact of conflicts and troubled times on people, through concepts like memory, time, imagination, and existential reflection, as well as its role in the transmission of hope. Her primary area of study is Irish literature, especially the poetry of Patrick Kavanagh.
