Brief summary of research interests<\/strong>: Elvira Aguilera Garc\u00eda is an FPI-funded doctoral candidate at the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona’s Department of English and German Studies. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English Studies and a master\u2019s degree in English Literature and Linguistics from the University of Granada. She is also in the final stages of completing her second postgraduate degree, the Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Women’s and Gender Studies (GEMMA). Her research analyses contemporary literary and cultural discourse through critical masculinities studies and affect theories, resulting in publications and conference presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
