Currently she is a PhD Candidate at the Department of English and German Philology at the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona and a member of the CIEN research team since 2016. She is a researcher in the Neophon II project Las mudas ling\u00fc\u00ecsticas: una aproximaci\u00f3n etnogr\u00e1fica a los nuevos hablantes en Europa &#8211; FFI2015-67232-C3-1-P led by Joan Pujolar at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
