She holds a PhD in Public Policies and Social Transformation (2017) from the Institute of Goverment and Public Policy (UAB).\u00a0<span id=\"more-104\"><\/span>Her thesis was titled \u2018The Spanish Housing system after the crisis (2007-2016). Change and continuity of a model\u2019. <!--more-->She has an undergraduate degree in Sociology, a diploma in Social Work and a Masters in Sociology of the Territory from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Her areas of interest range from urban social movements to housing policies. She is an experienced researcher and has worked both within and outside academia, including in the project Pol\u00edticas Urbanas en el Escenario 2015 (PI J.Subirats, as part of the Plan Nacional I+D+i 2011-2014), the project El Movimiento de Okupaci\u00f3n de Viviendas y Centros Sociales en Espa\u00f1a y en Europa: contextos, ciclos, identidades e institucionalizaci\u00f3n (PI M.A. Mart\u00ednez) and the study Benchmarking, solucions als nous reptes in the area of housing policy, for the Barcelona City Council, in collaboration with the Pi Sunyer Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Relevant publications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mart\u00ednez, M.A. and Garc\u00eda-Bernardos, A.
