Antonina Levatino is a Juan de la Cierva (Incorporation) Fellow at the Department of Sociology of the UAB. She holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and is currently a postdoctoral researcher. Her research focuses, on the one hand, on the link between the internationalization of higher education, skilled migration and student mobility and, on the other hand, on accountability and autonomy reforms in education. Her work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as American behavioural Scientist, Higher Education and International Journal of Educational Development. Dr. Levatino is trained in qualitative and quantitative methods and, in recent years, has coordinated international online surveys in different countries in the framework of the TEMPER Project and the REFORMED project. She is a member of the Globalisation, Education and Social Policies (GEPS) research group and a founding member of the International Observatory of Academic Mobilities MOBÉLITES.
