Berta Llos Casadellà is a current PhD candidate at the Faculty of Educational Sciences of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. She holds a Master in Social Policy, Work and Welfare and two different degrees in Educational Studies. She has participated in the project EduPost16. The construction of post-16 educational opportunities. An analysis of post-compulsory educational transitions in urban settings through an internship as undergraduate student. She has also collaborated in a study about Early School Leaving in the city of Barcelona. She has worked as Assistant Professor in the Department of Theories of Education and Social Pedagogy, and in the Department of Sociology, both at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her main research interests focus on social inequalities through education, particularly on the production and reproduction of identities, experiences and choices, the processes of policymaking in schools, social justice approaches and gender studies.
