The EDO-UAB this week has kept contacts with Latin American universities rectors to discuss proposals for future collaboration. 

On Tuesday October 14 took place in Barcelona an academic session of Inter-University Centre for Development (CINDA), organized by the Open University of Catalonia, and which was attended by over forty presidents of universities in Europe and Latin America to discuss the role of ICT in education.

The meeting served to hold bilateral meetings with the presidents of the Catholic University of Bolivia "San Pablo" (Dr. Marco Antonio Fernández) and the University of Tarapaca (Dr. Arturo Flores) to discuss future avenues of collaboration within the knowledge transfer activities that EDO-UAB drives through laboratory service delivery EDO-SERVEIS.

In the case of the Bolivian university, EDO-UAB has already made contributions from joint participation in ACCESSING project coordinated des UAB. In the case of the Chilean university, past collaboration has been developed by EDO-SERVEIS through adhoc programming Graduate Teacher Training College and a Masters in University Management.
