Can Cortada is a historic Catalan masia (farmhouse) with the character of a small castle, listed as part of Barcelona’s artistic heritage (it is said to have originated as a medieval castle and later an important farmhouse, built over a former Roman villa site). It opened as a restaurant in 1994 and offers quality Catalan cuisine, with a special focus on local meats, alongside market and Mediterranean cooking.
The venue preserves its historical features (including a defensive tower) and has spacious indoor areas, private lounges, and gardens, so it’s a lovely setting for a group dinner.
