The 13th Midterm Conference of the European Sociological Association (ESA)<\/strong> \u2013 Research Network Sociology of the Arts \u2013 will take place in three key locations in and around Barcelona<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (UAB)<\/strong> is one of Spain\u2019s leading public universities. Its main campus covers 260 ha and hosts a wide range of research, teaching, cultural and service facilities. It is located in the Greater Barcelona Metropolitan Area, close to Sabadell and about 20 km from the city centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Social Dinner<\/strong> of ESArts 2025 will take place at L\u2019Estaci\u00f3 \u2013 Espai Gastron\u00f2mic<\/strong>, a spectacular venue located inside the historic Estaci\u00f3 de Fran\u00e7a<\/strong> in the heart of Barcelona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its majestic noucentista architecture by Duran i Reynals<\/strong>, the venue offers a wide and elegant space, richly adorned with marble, bronze and a large central clock, preserving the charm of the original station. It is one of the few large-capacity event venues in the Born district<\/strong>, making it a unique location for cultural gatherings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opened in 1975, the Fundaci\u00f3 is today a dynamic cultural centre where Mir\u00f3\u2019s work coexists with avant-garde artistic expressions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
