Since I joined the English Department in 1988 I have taught several courses at undergraduate level including survey courses in 19th and 20th century literature, advanced composition and instrumental English. Since 1994 I have taught History and Culture courses, both British and American, English Romanticism and optional courses in postcolonial literature, the short story and cultural studies.

- History and Culture of the United States (core course)
- Postcolonial Studies in English (elective)
I have also taught several “campus subjects” on India and on postcolonial literature and film open to students from any degree in the UAB.
