Understanding AI in Public Health from a feminist view: inequalities, risks and opportunities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming healthcare, from diagnostics and epidemiological surveillance to personalized treatments and global health interventions. However, these technological advancements come with profound ethical, political, and social challenges<\/strong>. Issues such as algorithmic bias, discrimination, lack of transparency, and technological colonialism<\/strong> raise urgent concerns about equity in healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This symposium brings together academics, researchers, students, activists, and healthcare professionals<\/strong> to critically examine these challenges through a feminist and interdisciplinary lens<\/strong>. How does AI reinforce existing health inequalities? Can feminist perspectives offer solutions for a more inclusive and just technological future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
