In the context of the Research Seminars of the Geography and Gender Group, on Thursday, January 28, 2016, Professor Kristin Sziarto from the University of Milwaukee delivered a lecture titled: Whose Reproductive Futures? Race-Biopolitics and Resistance in the Black Infant Mortality Reduction Campaign in Milwaukee. Dr. Sziarto is conducting a research stay in the Department of Geography from August 2015 to June 2016, and is actively participating in the Group’s Research Seminars.
