The Research Group in Geography and Gender is organizing the Seminar on Innovative Methodologies in Feminist Geography, which will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
This seminar is an opportunity to promote collective learning and reflection on methodological innovation in feminist geography. The program will feature six researchers who will share their experiences and methods used in research analyzing socio-spatial inequalities and social systems of domination. These presentations will highlight the potential of new methodologies for understanding how gender and other power structures are shaped in and through spaces and places.
Spaces for collective reflection: Moments to exchange ideas, experiences, and generate new perspectives.
Presentations of innovative research: Six researchers will share their experiences in projects that have driven new ways of understanding feminist geography.
Debates: Open reflections on the challenges and possibilities of feminist research in geography.
