{"id":2750,"date":"2026-03-13T08:18:40","date_gmt":"2026-03-13T06:18:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/geografia-genere\/?p=2750"},"modified":"2026-05-14T18:33:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T16:33:26","slug":"maria-prats-recognised-at-the-8m-institutional-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/geografia-genere\/en\/2026\/03\/13\/maria-prats-recognised-at-the-8m-institutional-event\/","title":{"rendered":"Maria Prats recognised at the 8M institutional event"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday 9 March, during the institutional event marking International Women\u2019s Day, the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona honored Maria Prats, professor and member of the Research Group on Geography and Gender, in recognition of her career and her contribution to research and teaching from a feminist perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, Rector Javier Lafuente presented the distinction to Prats, highlighting her leadership of the UAB Observatory for Equality and the work of the research group and the Department of Geography in promoting gender perspectives within the discipline.
