Previously, he has been a Juan de la Cierva Postdoctoral Fellow (MINECO) at the Department of Translation and Interpretation  East Asian Studies (UAB), Visiting Fellow at the National Museum of Ethnology in Japan (Minpaku) (Japan), Postdoctoral Scholar (AGAUR-DURSI) in the Department of Anthropology at Stanford University (USA), and Visiting Researcher (Monbukagakush\u014d) in the Department of Cultural Anthropology at the University of Tokyo (Japan).
