Va obtenir el seu doctorat el novembre de 2022 a la Universitat de Galway, Irlanda, i actualment \u00e9s investigador postdoctoral Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie al grup GICOM de la UAB. La seva recerca se centra en la millora mitjan\u00e7ant nanomaterials del bioreactor anaerobi de membrana psicr\u00f2fil (<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Nano4PAnMBR\">Nano4PAnMBR<\/a>) per a la recuperaci\u00f3 sostenible de bioenergia a partir de residus org\u00e0nics, un projecte finan\u00e7at dins del marc de Horizon Europe. El seu treball es focalitza en millorar l&#8217;efici\u00e8ncia de la digesti\u00f3 anaer\u00f2bia en condicions de baixa temperatura mitjan\u00e7ant la integraci\u00f3 de nanomaterials (per exemple, ZVI a nanoescala) i bioreactors de membrana, contribuint al desenvolupament de tecnologies avan\u00e7ades i sostenibles de bioenergia. A m\u00e9s, explora la fermentaci\u00f3 en estat s\u00f2lid i la recuperaci\u00f3 de recursos a partir de residus org\u00e0nics, amb l&#8217;objectiu de desenvolupar solucions biotecnol\u00f2giques innovadores que fomentin una bioeconomia circular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de la recerca en bioenergia, el Dr. Wang investiga la desnitrificaci\u00f3 autotr\u00f2fica mitjan\u00e7ant pirita, avaluant el seu potencial per a l&#8217;eliminaci\u00f3 de nitrogen en sistemes de tractament d&#8217;aig\u00fces residuals. Els seus interessos de recerca tamb\u00e9 inclouen tecnologies avan\u00e7ades de reutilitzaci\u00f3 i tractament d&#8217;aig\u00fces residuals, amb un enfocament en el desenvolupament de solucions sostenibles i eficients per a la reutilitzaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;aigua.
