The appointment will be for a one year term, possibly renewable for a second year.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will work along four possible research tracks: i) quantum statistical inference; ii) machine learning; iii) quantum resource theories; iv) assessing quantumness and non-classicality. A background in at least one of these areas is desirable.
