One way in which such correlations can manifest themselves is through the phenomenon of EPR-steering, which loosely speaking measures the degree to which measurements on one side (Alice) of a quantum state can affect, or \u2018steer\u2019, the state of the other (Bob). We show that this phenomenon can be fundamentally asymmetric [1], a property that is missing in standard \u2018Bell\u2019 nonlocality. That is, we show that it is possible for a state to exhibit EPR steering from Alice to Bob but not from Bob to Alice, giving a simple example for a 2-qubit state.<\/p>\n<div>Finally, I will discuss the closely related phenomenon of \u2018genuine hidden nonlocality\u2019 [2] and the local simulation of entangled states using finite shared randomness [3].&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>[1] &#8216;One way Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Steering\u2019, Phys.
