National Third Sector Day is a call to collective action, a day to vindicate the work of the Third Sector, its entities and the people who make them up.
In 2024, the commemoration of National Third Sector Day is framed under the title “The Third Sector facing global threats: promoting social justice and defending rights.” We join together to celebrate and strengthen the essence of this sector and all the people who make it up: those with whom we work, volunteers, workers and allies, united by the common purpose of building a more just, equal and inclusive society.

On 9 October, the round table began with the question “How can we achieve a global alliance for social justice and human rights?” Anna Ayuso, in her speech, defined the third sector as a tool for social transformation that generates and transmits social demands.

In the words of Anna Ayuso, the strength of the third secor is what democracy aims for in order to make it advance, it is a fundamental pillar, which is why we have to take care of and listen to the voice of this sector.
