Today 21 of May 2024, Dr Cristina Blasi (coordinator of GLOBAL INTEL) has participated in the 2nd Workshop on Natural Language Processing for Political Sciences within the LREC COLING 2024 conference in Torino (Italy). She has been presenting online in panel “GenAI and LLMs: Shaping Social and Political Sciences”, chaired by Dr Haithem Afli.

Dr Blasi has explained the how AI is increasingly being used by law firms to automate routine tasks and streamline workflows, ultimately leading to enhanced efficiency and cost savings, by reducing the time spent on manual tasks and generating ideas from scratch. She has also presented a recent study (not yet published) that she has been developing with Dr Ballesta and others on the challenges and ethical concerns that AI used in law firms could entail.
