The Dynamics of Gender Polarization is a research project led by Eva Anduiza that investigates the growing role of gender in shaping citizens’ political attitudes and political behaviors in contemporary Spain. The project examines three interconnected dimensions of gender-related polarization: the widening of attitudinal and behavioral gaps between men and women, the increasing disagreement around gender-related issues, and the evolving public perceptions of feminism as a political movement.
GPOL develops a comprehensive, longitudinal framework that treats gender polarization as a multidimensional political process.
