I graduated in Biology at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2020) and have completed an master’s degree in Biological Anthropology (UB/UAB). I am currently working on my PhD ‘Enamel growth lines in deciduous teeth and life history reconstruction in ancient populations’. My work combines the microscopic study of deciduous teeth and elemental analysis of Synchrotron X-ray Fluorescence (SXRF), under the supervision of Xavier Jordana, Assumpció Malgosa and Judit Molera.
I have worked on the project about ‘Reevaluation of infanticide and sex selection in the Iberian era’, determining the chronological age of 38 child individuals. In addition, I have conducted two SXRF experiments, one at the ALBA Synchrotron and another at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) in Grenoble, to identify the Neonatal Line (LNN) in dental germs.
Main areas of research
