I graduated in Biology by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) in 2012, and got my master’s degree in Biological Anthropology in 2013 and PhD in 2017 by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Currently, I am an Associated Professor at the Biological Anthropology Unit of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). My research involves the study of the morphological variability human skeletal remains from the Quaternary, with special emphasis on dental remains. These studies are applied to the study of the evolution of the morphological variability in humans and the understanding of the cultural diversity in different periods of the prehistory. I combine 3D data, non-metric and metric traits and stable isotope data among others. In addition, during the last years I have been involved on the forensic anthropology study of mass graves from the Spanish Civil war and posterior dictatorship.
