La guerra civil en sus relatos<\/em> (2013), o <em>La guerra fascista. Italia en la guerra civil espa\u00f1ola, 1936-1939<\/em> (2016, ed. en angl\u00e8s 2021). Editor o coeditor de diversos llibres col\u00b7lectius sobre la hist\u00f2ria europea de la viol\u00e8ncia col\u00b7lectiva com <em>Tierras de nadie. La Primera Guerra Mundial y sus consecuencias <\/em>(2014); <em>Pol\u00edticas de la violencia. Europa siglo XX<\/em> (2014); <em>Europa desgarrada. Guerra, ocupaci\u00f3n y violencia 1900-1950 <\/em>(2018); <em>Fascist Warfare, 1922-1945. Aggression, Occupation, Annihilation <\/em>(2019), \u00e9s el coautor amb David Alegre del monumental <em>Comunidades rotas. Una historia global de las guerras civiles, 1917-2017<\/em> (2019, ed. en angl\u00e8s 2024). Els seus darrers llibres s\u00f3n <em>General\u00edsimo. Las vidas de Francisco Franco, 1892-2020<\/em> (2022), i <em>Ellos, los fascistas. La banalizaci\u00f3n del fascismo y la crisis de la democracia <\/em>(2022, amb Maximiliano Fuentes). Tamb\u00e9 ha coordinat <em>Los perdedores de todas las guerras. Refugio, exilio y desplazamiento forzoso en Espa\u00f1a y Europa (1912-1951)<\/em> (2023, amb Magda Fytili), <em>Posguerras civiles europeas, 1939-1950: una historia comparada<\/em> (2023) i t\u00e9 a la premsa <em>Imagining Franco. History, Memory, Narratives<\/em> (2024). Javier Rodrigo ha estat el coordinador d&#8217;un projecte europeu ambici\u00f3s, SO-CLOSE, sobre el passat i el present del fenomen de les persones refugiades a Europa. Actualment, a m\u00e9s d&#8217;estar becat per la Fundaci\u00f3 BBVA amb una beca Leonardo per al projecte VOLGA, un estudi sobre la viol\u00e8ncia contra les dones en el marc de la lluita antiguerrillera a Espanya, coordina el projecte europeu WIRE, Women in Resistance, que busca una mirada alternativa al concepte de resist\u00e8ncia a Europa.
