Our purpose is to provide guidelines on how the democratic culture dimension could be considered in initial&nbsp;teacher education and to illustrate such guidelines with the production of different resources&nbsp;for pre-service and in-service teachers. We understand that EDCD-TEP explicitly responds&nbsp;to Council of Europe\u2019s (2017) request on the need of&nbsp;innovating primary initial teacher education&nbsp;programmes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\">EDCD-TEP subdimensions will be considered transversally in our plan of action which includes:&nbsp;<strong>\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>1.&nbsp;<\/strong>International seminars.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>2.&nbsp;<\/strong>National workshops.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>3.&nbsp;<\/strong>Bank of resources.<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtejustify\"><strong>4.&nbsp;<\/strong>EDCD-TEP&nbsp;conference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Methodology EDCD-TEP will articulate these four subdimensions (value; examine; imagine and act) to make explicit and practical recommendations on how CDC could be better embedded in&nbsp;primary&nbsp;teacher education&nbsp;programmes.
