Founded in 1968, it has more than 30,000 students, 3,000 teachers and offers over 600 different courses, spanning undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs. The UAB in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/about-the-uab\/the-uab\/the-uab-in-figures-1345668682835.html\">figures\u00a0<\/a>&amp;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/about-the-uab\/the-uab\/the-uab-in-the-rankings-1345667138662.html\">rankings<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab.cat\/web\/faculty-of-translation-and-interpreting-1345746942228.html\">Faculty of Translation and Interpreting<\/a>\u00a0(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Facultat+de+Traducci%C3%B3+i+Interpretaci%C3%B3,+Carrer+Universitat+Aut%C3%B2noma+B,+08290+Cerdanyola+del+Vall%C3%A8s,+Barcelona\/@41.5046358,2.1055386,402m\/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x12a4942adbd8efd5:0xf2a3366ba893e773!8m2!3d41.5041889!4d2.1049116?hl=es\">map<\/a>) is located at that UAB Campus Bellaterra is sited in the town of Bellaterra (Cerdanyola del Vall\u00e9s, Barcelona) at 20 kilometres\u00a0from Barcelona city center.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The best way to go to the UAB Campus Bellaterra is by train (FGC, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya):\u00a0<\/strong>from the main station at &#8220;Pla\u00e7a Catalunya&#8221; to the \u201cUniversitat Aut\u00f2noma\u201d station.<\/p>\n<p>We will organize groups to go together from &#8220;Pla\u00e7a Catalunya&#8221; station to the conference venue on the Bellaterra campus, and will also send you detailed information about how to get there if the times we offer do not suit you. A T-casual for Zone 1 costs\u00a011.35\u00a0\u20ac\u00a0and you can also use it on the Barcelona metro and bus network.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Casa Convalescencia<\/u><\/strong><strong> (Barcelona)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.uab-casaconvalescencia.org\/en\/index.php?lg=en\">Casa Convalescencia<\/a> is a Historical Artistic Monument and a UNESCO World Heritage Site near the temple of the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, and sited within the iconic Hospital de Santa Creu i Sant Pau complex that was built in the late 19th century to provide better medical care in Barcelona. The architect Pere Dom\u00e8nech i Roura designed this architectural gem in distinctive Modernist style using natural stone columns and capitals, ceramic tile murals illustrating the history of the building and vaulted brick ceilings, together with many other elements.
