Her thesis, entitled &#8220;English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning and capital in rural China: A case study of a group of secondary students&#8221; was supervised by Dr. Melinda Dooly and Dr. Emilee Moore. Examining Board members were David Block, Universitat de Lleida (president), Xavier Fontich, Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona (secretary), John O&#8217;Regan, UCL Institute of Education, University College London (spokesperson).
