Her supervision at different levels (B.A., M.A. and PhD) covers a wide range of topics, from the comparison of specific linguistic aspects to the verbal expression of empathy in English and Catalan. Her areas of research include contrastive linguistics (especially English-Catalan), cross-cultural and intercultural pragmatics, second-language acquisition and corpus linguistics. She has published articles on these topics in a variety of journals and books.
