The Via Universit\u00e0ria<\/strong> project is an initiative promoted by the Vives Network of Universities<\/strong> , with the technical support of the AQU and with the collaboration of several research groups, including the Education and Work Research Group (GRET)<\/strong> of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). The main objective is to analyze the living conditions, forms of study and the relationship of students with the university system in the field of Catalan-speaking universities.<\/p>\n\n

By applying surveys to a representative sample of university students, the study provides key data on aspects such as access to university, living conditions, job expectations and academic mobility.<\/p>\n\n

This project follows the line of international initiatives such as Eurostudent<\/strong> and ECoViPEU<\/strong> , with which it shares objectives of comparative analysis on the living conditions and participation of students in higher education.<\/p>\n\n

OBJECTIVES<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

The general objectives of the project are:<\/p>\n\n

  1. Examine the living and studying conditions<\/strong> of university students in different institutions and territories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Analyze inequalities in access and permanence<\/strong> in higher education according to socioeconomic, gender and migratory origin factors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Study the academic and professional trajectories<\/strong> of students, as well as their job expectations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Identify obstacles and facilitators<\/strong> in the educational process of university students.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Provide rigorous data for institutional decision-making<\/strong> and the development of more equitable educational policies.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    METHODOLOGY<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

    The project uses a quantitative methodology based on surveys, complemented by qualitative techniques to deepen the interpretation of the results:<\/p>\n\n

    • Data collection through structured surveys<\/strong> of university students from various institutions in the Vives Network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Statistical analysis of the results<\/strong> to identify patterns and inequalities in living and learning conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Comparison with other international studies<\/strong> , such as Eurostudent, to understand the particularities of the Catalan-speaking university system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Discussion sessions with experts and institutional leaders<\/strong> to validate the conclusions and propose improvement measures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n
