El projecte s&#8217;organitza en quatre nivells estretament relacionats:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Aplicaciones:<\/strong> S&#8217;estudiaran diverses aplicacions multidisciplinars que representen un desafiament significatiu des del punt de vista computacional, i a m\u00e9s per al propi desenvolupament del camp espec\u00edfic de la ci\u00e8ncia o enginyeria (bioinform\u00e0tica, mediambient, industrial, \u2026).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Modelos de Programaci\u00f3n y Entornos de Ejecuci\u00f3n:<\/strong> S&#8217;han de reconsiderar a la llum de les noves tend\u00e8ncies en l&#8217;arquitectura (organitzaci\u00f3 del c\u00f2mput, mem\u00f2ria i comunicacions) i dels requisits de les aplicacions seleccionades. \u00c9s obligat l&#8217;an\u00e0lisi de les solucions existents m\u00e9s adequades i el desenvolupament d&#8217;extensions espec\u00edfiques.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Modelado, Evaluaci\u00f3n y Sintonizaci\u00f3n de Rendimiento:<\/strong> Els models de rendiment s\u00f3n crucials per a la programaci\u00f3 eficient i la sintonitzaci\u00f3. Han d&#8217;ampliar-se o incl\u00fas redisenyar-se per a incorporar les caracter\u00edstiques de sistemes d&#8217;altes prestacions actuals i futurs. A m\u00e9s, han de replantejar-se els mecanismes de monitoritzaci\u00f3 i sintonitzaci\u00f3 per a ser efectius en sistemes multi\/many core a gran escala.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Mecanismos de Gesti\u00f3n de Recursos:<\/strong> Les pol\u00edtiques de distribuci\u00f3, asignaci\u00f3 i planificaci\u00f3 han d&#8217;analitzar-se en relaci\u00f3 al tipus de sistema i aplicaci\u00f3 considerats.
