Her research is oriented towards the study of labour and relational exclusion from an intersectional approach.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Laia has a degree in Political Science and Administration (UPF). After graduating, she studied a Master&#8217;s Degree in Social Policy, Work and Welfare (UAB) and a postgraduate degree in Data Analyst for Political Analysis and Public Management (UB). During her studies, she did two internships, one at <em>Institut Catal\u00e0 de les Dones<\/em>, in the area of promotion of activities and entities (2018) and another one at <em>Barcelona Activa<\/em>, providing technical support in the area of labour market and job seeking activities (2019-2020). Between 2020 and 2021 she worked as a technician at <em>Barcelona Activa<\/em>, working on basic technology training projects to reduce the digital divide in the city of Barcelona. Subsequently, she continued her career as an equality technician at <em>Consultoria MIT<\/em>, taking part in the development of projects in the field of gender equality and diversity for public and private organisations: equality plans, protocols against sexual harassment, studies on gender violence and gender equality, among others.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since June 2023 she has been working as a pre-doctoral researcher at QUIT, with a Joan Or\u00f3 doctoral grant (FI) awarded by <em>Generalitat de Catalunya<\/em>. Since joining QUIT, she has participated in the research project \u2018Social capital and residential environment in the young population at risk of labour exclusion. A case study\u2019, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation (reference code: PID2021-125218NB-I00).
