Between 2007 and 2011 he was a vocal advisor to President Rodr\u00edguez Zapatero. Author of La equidad y la educaci\u00f3n (2017) and Estructura social y desigualdad en Espa\u00f1a (2013). In addition, he has made reports or advised various institutions, such as the Ministry of Education, the Congress of Deputies, or Caritas.
