Frank is senior researcher at\u202fAIAS-HSI,\u202fan institute for multidisciplinary research and teaching in labour studies at the Law Faculty of the University of Amsterdam. Frank\u2019s occupational field is focused on mostly qualitative research in labour markets, employment relations, and HR\/organisational studies. He initiated and coordinated several national and international projects, co-funded by the European Commission. His publications are about the relationships between\u202fflexibility and security in labour markets, \u2018flexicurity&#8217; policy concepts, (inter)generational issues in labour, institutional and organizational change in collective bargaining, trade unions\u2019 and employers\u2019 power resources and collective actions in industrial relations and welfare states, employee voice and participation in decision-making in companies (among other issues, see publications: Dr. F.H.
