He serves as Alternate Director of the\u00a0<em>Gino Germani Research Institute<\/em>\u00a0(UBA), where he leads the Comparative Research Program and participates in the Security Observatory. His research specializes in the intersections between crime control and social policy, examining the discursive construction of\u00a0<em>insecurity<\/em>\u00a0as a public issue, youth studies, violence, inequality and the development of preventive policies. He has taught in graduate programs on security and social policy and is the author of the book\u00a0<em>Crime and Poverty: Intersections Between Social Policy and Criminal Justice<\/em>\u00a0(<em>Delito y Pobreza: espacios de intersecci\u00f3n entre los campos de la pol\u00edtica social y la pol\u00edtica criminal<\/em>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals in his field, both nationally and internationally. He is involved in several international research projects, including\u00a0<em>A New Measure of Socioeconomic Inequalities for International Comparison<\/em>\u00a0(INCASI2 \u2013 Horizon Europe) and\u00a0<em>The Orders and Borders of Global Inequality: Migration and Mobilities in Late Capitalism<\/em>\u00a0(MIGMOBS \u2013 European Research Council).
