In July 2025, the National University of C\u00f3rdoba (UNC) received a visit from\u00a0Professor Enrique Mart\u00edn Criado<\/strong>\u00a0from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (UPO). His stay took place within the framework of the\u00a0Erasmus+ Programme<\/strong>\u00a0and through a specific agreement between both institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A broad and interdisciplinary group of professors from various academic units at the UNC collaborated in planning his activities, ensuring that his training initiatives benefit undergraduate students, postgraduate students, fellows, thesis students, chair teams, research teams, and outreach teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several members of the\u00a0INCASI network<\/strong>\u00a0affiliated with the UNC participated in this collaborative group:\u00a0Dr\u00a0Mar\u00eda Celeste G\u00f3mez<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Faculty of Economic Sciences),\u00a0Dr\u00a0Cecilia Jim\u00e9nez<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Research Centre, Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities),\u00a0Dr\u00a0Andrea Pujol<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Faculty of Psychology),\u00a0Dr\u00a0Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Magliano<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities),\u00a0Dr\u00a0Lorena Capogrossi<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities),\u00a0Dr\u00a0Juliana Huergo<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Faculty of Medical Sciences), **Eduardo Rodr\u00edguez Rocha**<\/a>\u00a0(Faculty of Philosophy and Humanities), and\u00a0Dr\u00a0Patricia Mariel Sorribas<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(Faculty of Psychology).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the activities carried out by\u00a0Prof. Mart\u00edn Criado<\/strong>\u00a0was the\u00a0Free Postgraduate Course “Sociological Analysis of Discourse”<\/a><\/strong>, authorised by\u00a0RD-2025-701-E-UNC-DEC#FP<\/strong>. Forty-five people participated in this instance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another activity was the “MEETING between UNC researchers and Enrique Mart\u00edn Criado”<\/strong>, held on 4 July<\/strong> at the ADIUC union headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the initial presentation by Prof. Mart\u00edn Criado<\/strong>, rounds of presentations were organised on research agendas and theoretical-methodological problematizations, structured around different thematic axes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Youths<\/strong>: ‘Cordoban youths in public spaces. Subjective register, violence, and political experiences’<\/em>, A. Bonvillani and M. Rold\u00e1n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Education<\/strong>:
‘International, foreign, and migrant students at university’<\/em>, C. Jim\u00e9nez and F. Maggi.
‘Problems and challenges of contemporary sociology of education’<\/em>, S. Servetto and A. Tessio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research methodology<\/strong>:
‘Reflections for critically rethinking fieldwork’<\/em>, M.J. Magliano and L. Capogrossi.
‘Methodological contributions for addressing digital experiences of children and adolescents’<\/em>, J. Huergo and I. Ib\u00e1\u00f1ez.
‘Methodological tools for investigating youth mobilities in secondary school’<\/em>, G. Garc\u00eda Bast\u00e1n.
‘The narrative interview and workshop as devices for co-analysis of critical incidents with professionals and youth references’<\/em>, H. Paul\u00edn.
‘Human rights in question. Theoretical-methodological reconsiderations in research on rights and their enforceability with populations under punitive social control’<\/em>, Mariel Castagno and Melisa Herranz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discourse analysis<\/strong>:
‘Discursive approaches to communication\/culture’<\/em>, B. Espoz Dalmasso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dr Ana M. Morero<\/a><\/strong>, a member of the INCASI network affiliated with the University of Barcelona and currently undertaking a research stay during the month of July, also participated in this instance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to those who presented, another 60 people who had previously registered took part in this meeting. Attendees ranged from undergraduate students to researcher-teachers from both the UNC and other higher education, science, and technology institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, following a working lunch with authorities from the UNC Faculty of Social Sciences,\u00a0Prof. Mart\u00edn Criado<\/strong>\u00a0participated in a\u00a0“Conversatory with Dr Enrique Mart\u00edn Criado”<\/strong>, a dialogue space centred on social research from a sociological perspective, focusing on the trajectory of the visiting researcher. Organised and coordinated by the Research Workshop (5th year Sociology Degree), it included researchers from this academic unit as well as final-year students from the Sociology Degree at FCS\/UNC.
