The main objective is to develop a new analytical framework to understand and measure inequalities with a comparative and interdisciplinary approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>We celebrate with great satisfaction the incorporation of CLACSO and its good reception and interest. We welcome Pablo Vommaro, recently elected Executive Director of the institution, who will be the Principal Investigator in INCASI 2<\/strong>\u201d, the INCASI network published in its bulletin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative has, among other objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create the\u00a0<strong>INCASI Living Lab<\/strong>\u00a0as a space dedicated to the transfer and dissemination of research: organizing seminars, preparing diagnostics, contributing to the design of public policies, and informed decision-making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Advance the understanding of the complex phenomenon of socioeconomic inequalities by creating a new analytical framework at a comparative and interdisciplinary level.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build an innovative multidimensional global measure, more comprehensive and realistic in the comparative analysis of inequalities between Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the\u00a0<strong>INCASI<\/strong>\u00a0network include\u00a0<strong>CLACSO Member Centers<\/strong>, an organization comprising 30 academic institutions and international networks from Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean, currently developing the European project\u00a0<strong>&#8220;A New Measure of Socioeconomic Inequalities for International Comparison&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201c<strong>Una nueva medida de las desigualdades socioecon\u00f3micas para la comparaci\u00f3n internacional<\/strong>\u201d). This project involves\u00a0<strong>14 European universities<\/strong>\u00a0from 6 countries (<strong>Spain, Italy, France, Netherlands, Finland, and Great Britain<\/strong>),\u00a0<strong>11 universities from Latin America and the Caribbean<\/strong>\u00a0from 7 countries (<strong>Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, and Mexico<\/strong>), and\u00a0<strong>5 international organizations<\/strong>\u00a0(<strong>Latinobar\u00f3metro, CEPAL, INTAL, LAPOP, and CLACSO<\/strong>).
