{"id":5944,"date":"2022-12-20T14:13:11","date_gmt":"2022-12-20T14:13:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/incasi\/inicio\/"},"modified":"2023-06-02T16:29:02","modified_gmt":"2023-06-02T16:29:02","slug":"inicio","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/webs.uab.cat\/incasi1\/en\/","title":{"rendered":"Home"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><strong>INCASI<\/strong><em>, International Network for Comparative Analysis of Social Inequalities<\/em>, is a research and training network between Europe and Latin America created in 2015 with the Horizon 2020 project of the European Commission to study <em>Global trends in social inequalities in Europe and Latin America and exploring innovative ways to reduce them through life, occupational and educational trajectories research to face uncertainty<\/em>, from January 2016 to December 2019,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new project is currently planned to start in November 2023 within the Horizon Europe, Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), Staff Exchange programme, entitled: <strong>A New Measure of Socioeconomic Inequalities for International Comparison<\/strong> (INCASI2) aimed at building a new analytical model of socioeconomic inequalities in order to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Advance understanding of the complex phenomenon of socioeconomic inequalities by creating a <strong>new analytical framework <\/strong>at a comparative and interdisciplinary level.<\/li><li>Build an innovative multidimensional measure (<strong>DYSIC<\/strong>: Dynamics of Socioeconomic Inequality in Comparison) that is global, more comprehensive and realistic in the comparative analysis of inequalities between Europe and Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/li><li>Create the <strong>INCASI Living Lab<\/strong> to produce diagnoses, contribute to informed decision-making and the design of public policies.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>29 organisations are participating: <strong>14 European universities<\/strong> from 6 countries (Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Finland and Great Britain), <strong>11 Latin American and Caribbean universities <\/strong>from 7 countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Cuba, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico), and <strong>4 non-academic organisations<\/strong> (Latinobar\u00f3metro, ECLAC, INTAL and LAPOP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project is coordinated by the Institute for Labour Studies (IET) at the Autonmous University of Barcelona, with Dr. Pedro L\u00f3pez-Rold\u00e1n as principal researcher of the network.
